We are currently looking for an IT Business Analyst to become a valuable addition to our dynamic team! The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying business needs, and recommending solutions that enable our clients to achieve their goals. The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment and facilitate the successful implementation of business solutions. They are the link between the business objectives and core technological capabilities the team is building. They are responsible for utilizing creative and practical thinking to translate requirements into direct improvements.
Responsibilities:
-Act as the key contact to define new use cases and support use case deployment teams with requirements gathering working in tandem with the Product Owner or comparable stakeholder.
-Know the status of all use cases and ensure that all feedback is collected and addressed.
-Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather requirements and understand business needs.
-Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
-Analyze and model business processes to identify areas for improvement.
-Develop process maps, flowcharts, and diagrams to represent current and future state business processes.
-Act as a liaison between business users, technical teams, and external vendors.
-Facilitate meetings, presentations, and workshops to gather input and provide updates on project progress.
-Ensure clear and effective communication between all parties.
Key Skills:
Domain Expertise:
-Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a related role.
-Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies such as SWOT analysis, GAP analysis, BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation), and UML (Unified Modeling Language).
-Strong knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
-Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
-Capability to translate technical solutions and design choices to business implications and vice versa.
-Excellent skills in presenting technical solutions in simple and clear manner to non-technical stakeholders and senior management, establishing strong relationships to ensure product, use case, and/or model success.
Agile / Experience:
-Experience in facilitating agile ceremonies, managing a backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, removing blockers (burndown chart, release burn up, etc.).
-Experience with requirements management and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio).
Individual Skills:
-Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts and align organization on decisions.
-Sound problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly process complex info and present it clearly and simply.
-Demonstrated collaboration to create innovative solutions efficiently.
-English C1 or above is required.
