Job Summary

VSolvit is seeking a skilled and motivated AEM Software Engineer to support our US Navy customer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development tools and a deep understanding of AEM architecture. This role involves developing and customizing AEM components, templates, workflows, and services, as well as integrating AEM with other enterprise systems and third-party platforms. 

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security logs, conducting data-driven investigations, and     generating reports to communicate findings and recommendations to relevant teams. Additionally, you will collaborate with other cybersecurity professionals, business analysts, and end-users to develop and implement customized solutions to strengthen the organization’s security defenses, including the design and integration of workflows and data analytics tools. You will provide expertise in RMF and cybersecurity activities and me lead teams or workgroups.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee technical implementation of Adobe Experience Manager-based large scale web product that meets client requirements.
  • Configure the architecture, design, and implement scalable and maintainable solutions leveraging AEM features such as components, templates, workflows, and client libraries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, content authors, UX designers, and business stakeholders, to define technical requirements and guide the implementation of AEM features.
  • Conduct code reviews and participate in Agile/Scrum processes to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Work in a full software development life cycle.
  • Attend Agile ceremonies.
  • Work in collaboration with other developers on the team.
  • Work closely with DevOps engineer to deliver high quality products.

Basic Qualifications

  • Ten (10) years of experience to include three (3) of the following areas: Systems or Software: Requirements, Design, Development, Verification and Validation/Test & Evaluation, Integration, Build & Deployment; Systems Administration, Information Assurance, Business Analysis, Integrated Development Environment tools and Online & End-User Documentation for DoD Systems or other federal agency Information Technology (IT) Systems. 
  • Strong understanding of AEM on premise configuration and management for virtual machines serving as Publish, Dispatch, and Author roles
  • Strong Java programming foundation
  • Expertise in AEM technologies, templates, workflows, Java Content Repository, and DAM
  • Experience with Coral/Granite UI, Adobe UI customization
  • In-depth understanding of AEM security and Access Controls
  • Experience with Adobe solutions such as Target and Analytics
  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, React, and other web development technologies
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Experience with OSGI, Sling, and REST API
  • Experience supporting multi-tenant architecture within same AEM instance
  • Experience in Adobe Dynamic Media to store assets of websites
  • Working knowledge of AEM cloud and Adobe Managed Services (AMS)
  • Experience working with content authors for development of new components and changes to existing components
  • Document components for content authors
  • Experience using Content Fragments and Experience Fragments
  • Experience creating AEM schedules to automate workflow and publish AEM pages
  • Experience with AWS DevSecOps services including Git, AWS CodeCommit, and AWS CodeBuild
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen 
  • Meet IAT I requirements by holding current certification in or more of the following:
    1. A+ CE
    2. CCNA-Security
    3. CND
    4. Network+ CE
    5. SSCP

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in one or more of the following (or higher):
    1. Adobe Experience Manager Forms Backend Developer Professional
    2. Adobe Experience Manager Assets Developer Professional
    3. Adobe Experience Manager Sites Developer Professional
  • Meet IAT II requirements by holding current certification in or more of the following:
    1. CCNA-Security
    2. CySA+ **
    3. GICSP
    4. GSEC
    5. Security+ CE
    6. CND
    7. SSCP
