Who are you?
Personify Health is hiring an experienced Software Engineer who will design, develop, and maintain core applications in our Applications Engineering development team. This person will support the success of the applications engineering team by developing high quality, robust software features. This role provides technical support throughout various aspects of the software development life cycle.

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:
Works collaboratively with a team of software developers, ensuring high quality delivery of features and bug fixes to maintain and support current production applications.
Participate in scoping and estimating processes to support sprint planning.
Establish and uphold software development best practices supporting high quality delivery of client requirements.
Serve as a subject matter expert on Personify Health products, services, and client-facing value.
Stays informed of new and emerging development methodologies.
Applies strong analytical and technical skills to understand, define, research, and resolve everyday application support issues.
Supports daily application monitoring, including checking production processes and/or jobs, application performance, application maintenance, etc.
Perform code reviews on peer development work to ensure exceptional quality.
Provides on-call support as needed.
Create and maintain documentation and process guidance for all project

Qualifications:
What you bring to the Personify Health team:
In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in C# or C++ / .NET, Angular
2+ years of experience in SQL development, including developing SQL queries, designing tables, stored procedures, indexes, views, functions, and performance tuning.
2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud service platform solutions strongly preferred
2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment strongly preferred
Experience in Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, SSIS and SSRS
Experience with RESTful services (such as Azure Function Apps) and consuming or implementing APIs
Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies to support Agile planning and work estimation
Experience with unit testing, integration testing and code tuning.
Experience with distributed source code control (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
Knowledge of agile software development suite of tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)
Proficiency with relational databases including writing stored procedures and queries
Highly self-motivated and directed with the ability and dedication to meeting aggressive deadlines while ensuring quality delivery
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred experience in health insurance industry

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $79,000 to $80,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
