Primary Responsibilities:

  • Under direct supervision of the AR Supervisor, the Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for ensuring proper company procedures are followed.
  • Process virtual credit card payments.
  • Process and import credit and debit memos, adjustments, other various account reconciliation.
  • Investigate and resolve customer and/or internal inquiries.
  • Thoroughly note all accounting discrepancies and follow up on item(s) until final resolution is complete.
  • Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in both incoming and outgoing payments.
  • Build and maintain a positive business relationship with internal/external customers.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements.
  • Participate in special projects, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1+ years of recent experience in a customer service environment with a proven record of reducing past due balances with a soft collection approach.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Must have a strong, positive work ethic.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills must be able to effectively communicate with external and internal customers.

Education, Certification and Experience 

  • High School Diploma required. 
  • 1 – 3 years of accounts receivable experience preferred 
  • Experience in SAP, High Radius, AS400, JD Edwards and Sales Force is a plus.
  • Remotely (Hybrid)work from home
