A day in the life. 
As our Senior Power BI Developer on the Information Technology team for MMA National, you’ll work closely with Business Partners and Stakeholders, helping to establish requirements with an analytical mind and a problem-solving aptitude. You will communicate complex key insights in written and verbal form to advise business leaders regarding their reporting requirements. The Power BI Developer will design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights. You will study, analyze and understand business requirements in context to business intelligence. This position will create, test, and deploy Power BI scripts, as well as, execute efficient deep analysis. 


The Senior Power BI Developer will utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboard and reports. Using Warehouse data, you will generate reports to support business decision-making and business performance monitoring.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence stack like Power Pivot, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS

  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP & ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks

  • Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

  • 6+ years of experience with Power BI development delivering complex reports and dashboards;

  • MS Power BI suite (Power Query/M/DAX);

  • Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS);

  • Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future 

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

  • Familiarity with other BI technologies (Microsoft Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau)

  • Strong data documentation skills about algorithms, parameters, and models. 

  • SQL Querying

  • Knowledge to build multi-dimensional data models

  • Experience working with Azure synapse, exposure to other visualization tools like (Qlik Sense, Tableau)

  • Experience working in Azure cloud & Building Data Visualization will be a major plus

The applicable base salary range for this role is $89,100 to $155,925. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
