Job description

Location: United Kingdom 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a world class team of Sales Engineers driving growth across our entire EMEA business.  
  • Serve as the technical sales leader throughout the pre-sales cycle, including owning proof-of-value (POV) engagements, co-leading customer relationships with sales executives, and expanding our presence in the market
  • Become the regional technical subject matter expert on the Axonius platform and its capabilities and work to continuously maintain this expertise over time
  • Provide technical pre-sales support for the sales team through in-depth discovery meetings and consultative engagement 
  • Assist sales in the development and execution of sales objectives and account-based penetration strategies
  • Conduct technical and competitive landscape research to effectively address customer questions
  • Educate sales executives and partners on Axonius products, platform, and security
  • Obsessively drive customer satisfaction! 

 Requirements:

  • Ability to support 75% travel requirements across the whole of EMEA
  • 5+ years of Sales Engineering leadership experience
  • Deep knowledge of the EMEA market and dynamics within each country
  • Significant security industry experience in sales engineering or related positions
  • Strong leadership presence with ability to grow, develop, coach, and inspire a team to do their best work
  • Deep technical expertise in cybersecurity, networking, and cloud. Background in attack surface management, vulnerability management or Axonius a major plus.
  • Experience supporting, developing, or architecting large-scale security programs
  • Deep familiarity with industy security frameworks
  • Knowledge of networking topology, TCP/IP protocols, network configuration and components (firewalls, routers, etc.), endpoint security technologies (AV, EDR, Next-gen AV etc), cloud security principles, vulnerability management
  • Conceptual knowledge of API’s and as much real world experience with scripting languages such as Python
  • Prior experience in selling software to Fortune 500
  • Experience presenting at multiple levels from c-suite to deep technical engineers
  • Strong technical presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to see and present “the big picture,” identify business challenges, and architect a strategy to solve customer business issues
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Positive attitude, customer focus, and strong sense of ownership over customer results
