Data Center Delivery Manager (Chinese native)

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and strategic-minded individual to fill the role of Data Center Delivery Manager (Chinese native). This is a new position, and the selected candidate will have the opportunity to shape and develop this role within our organisation. We require someone with the ability to adapt to changing directives and conditions, excellent commercial awareness, and the flexibility to manage a variety of tasks. Absolute discretion, particularly regarding sensitive and strategic matters, is paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of data center projects, from initial bidding to completion
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and project profitability
• Develop and implement project timelines, coordinating resources and teams
• Manage third-party vendors, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery
• Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative environment
• Ensure compliance with IDC processes and promote the use of digital tools
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and clients, enhancing customer satisfaction
• Handle international travel and manage large, diverse teams across multiple regions

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Native Chinese speaker with proficiency in English, strong communication and negotiation skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in electrical engineering, HVAC, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in international data center project delivery
• Leadership experience on large-scale projects is a must
• Willing to travel internationally for up to 10 months a year (Europe, Middle East, Africa)
• Preferred certifications: PMP, Level 1 Constructor, electrical or HVAC specialization
• Able to manage large teams and work well under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proven ability to manage large international teams (50+ people)
• High resilience under stress and pressure
• Willingness to adapt to international travel demands
