POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations Coordinator is a key role on the Operations / Integration team and is a cross-functional and versatile player. This role supports multiple team members, including the Chief Operating Officer and two EVP, Ops. Most of their time is spent partnering with the VP, Integration and Sr. Director, Operations and supporting various initiatives. This role also will provide administrative support to the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

General Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Operations team to support key initiatives – this will vary day-to-day and may be post-merger integrations, training resorts on the guest experience system or other operational work streams

  • Partner with the team to analyze current resort operations and support identifying best practices and efficiency opportunities

  • Support in meetings – this may include facilitation or note taking

  • Assist with management of vendors and related invoicing and expense management

  • Operational coordination key initiatives (this may include booking travel, creating schedules, etc.)

  • Assisting the team with booking meetings and managing calendars

  • Project schedule coordination: managing teams to internal milestones & final deadlines and communicating as needed with internal stakeholders

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge

  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite and key Project Management tools (AirTable, etc.)

  • Proactive & effective communication; ability to anticipate project challenges and scheduling conflicts

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Knowledge of the snowsports / outdoor industry

Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to take initiative and follow through with short- and long-term assignments.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with leaders across the organization.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects including timelines and key deliverables.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 

  • A high level of professionalism and an appreciation for the confidentiality and sensitivity of information received and handled.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to independently compose correspondence.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including an approachable, positive and helpful demeanor

  • Professional/lived experience working in a culturally competent manner with a diverse range of people.

  • Bachelor’s degree

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc.’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Denver area base hourly pay range: $24.04 - $33.65 per hour
