Job Title: Financial Proposal Analyst

Location: Remote

Daily Rate: $250/day (Consultancy basis)

Job Summary

The Financial Proposal Analyst will support both the Finance and Business Development teams in developing budgets, pricing models, and cost proposals for government bids. The ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of financial analysis and budgeting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to quickly learn and perform efficiently under tight deadlines. This role is perfect for someone eager to grow their expertise in pricing strategies and government cost proposals while contributing to a dynamic team. As a consultant, this position is compensated at a daily rate of $250 and does not include benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Development: Gather and analyze financial data to assist in creating accurate and compliant proposal budgets.
  • Cost Proposal Preparation: Support the analysis of solicitation documents to determine pricing requirements; assist in compiling cost elements for proposals; ensure proposals meet client guidelines; draft pricing narratives.
  • Coordination and Communication: Work closely with finance, technical, and business development teams to gather necessary proposal inputs and ensure all pricing components align with the overall proposal strategy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Experience 2-3 years in budgeting, financial analysis, pricing, and cost proposal support;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate functions, data analysis, and data visualization techniques (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and PivotTables);
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; and
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
