We’re currently hiring a Quality Assurance Associate to join our team! The Quality Assurance (QA) team at Rho supports corporate efforts to maintain compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines and global regulations. QA team members conduct audits, host audits and inspections of Rho, support clinical and regulatory teams as they execute projects for clients, and help drive change and continuous quality improvement in processes and systems, among other quality related responsibilities.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to QA activities, including audits, inspections, and clinical quality management. You will have a variety of responsibilities, including managing the QA email ticketing system, developing, reviewing, and maintaining documents and internal tools, working in our new electronic quality management system (eQMS), and supporting project teams and other quality initiatives. In addition to these administrative activities, this role will provide support for sponsor audits and may assist with auditing activities under the supervision of a Rho QA Auditor. This role will have the opportunity to learn about the full breadth of Rho’s services, providing an excellent first step in a career in clinical research.

Responsibilities:

The position will offer the opportunity to participate in many aspects of Quality Assurance at Rho. More specifically, the position may also include the following

 

  • Writing internal and external correspondence, such as emails memos, minutes and reports
  • Tracking QA information in electronic systems
  • Maintaining quality records per standard operating procedures
  • Gaining and maintaining knowledge of ICH-GCP, Rho processes and other regulations
  • Managing incoming emails to the QA email ticketing system
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings
  • Supporting the completion of client quality questionnaires about Rho’s processes and systems
  • Providing administrative support to the Procedural Document management system
  • Communicating with internal and external project staff
  • Supporting client qualification audits including meeting coordination and support
  • Assisting with audit activities under the supervision of a Rho QA Auditor
  • Representing Rho in a professional and positive manner
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field or a related area of study with research emphasis along with 1-2 years of work experience. Experience within the clinical research industry is preferred but not required.
  • Must be a team player with integrity, a commitment to quality, and the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact well with employees at all levels
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills,
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent ongoing projects and deadlines
  • Skilled at MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other similar tools. Experience with SharePoint is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities

As required by pay transparency laws in some states, Rho provides the range of starting compensation (annual salary or hourly rate) it reasonably expects to pay for a given role. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to role responsibilities and location as well as candidate skill set and level of experience. The range of starting pay for this role is $50,000-$70,000 per year.
