About the role

In the Welfare, we provide web applications which support municipalities and public institutions in managing Family and Elderly Care in Sweden and Norway. Our team consists of professionals in Microsoft .NET technologies and deliver robust web applications delivered in agile way. 

We are now looking for Test Automation Engineer to one of our teams to focus on automated quality assurance of our products. Your daily work consists of regular scram meetings, writing automated tests and general product quality assurance. You'll work in close collaboration with other team members and product owner from Sweden or Norway. 

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for designing and preparing test materials

  • Execute tests, ensure completion, and accurately record and report results according to the agreed test process

  • Perform manual testing as part of your duties

  • Apply your knowledge of different types of automated testing

  • Address a broad range of issues within your area of expertise

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Test Automation, particularly with Playwright and TypeScript

  • A solid understanding of QA processes for both mobile and web applications

  • Expertise in identifying and writing test cases and test scripts from functional requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Git

  • Familiarity with testing using Browserstack

  • Good knowledge in REST API

  • Good written and communication skills in English language

  • A basic understanding of working in agile (scrum) environments

It would be beneficial if you also have:

  • Experience with CI/CD processes

  • Proficiency in MS SQL

  • Basic programming skills

  • Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and other security-related concepts

  • Familiarity with tools like Postman, SpecFlow, and Azure DevOps
