The Opportunity

Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as an Associate Marketing Manager. In this role, you will make a significant impact on the Brand and Customer Acquisition Team and will be responsible for key marketing programs driving new consumer growth and profitability for our Valvoline Instant Oil Change stores. The Associate Marketing Manager will focus on localized marketing tactics and will develop strong relationships with the operations and store teams.

 

How You'll Make a Difference

  • Support the implementation of DMA-level, full-funnel marketing campaigns in 15 priority markets. Responsibilities include market-level research to identify program opportunities, project management, program asset management, sponsorship activation management and implementation, program analysis, and development of monthly reporting. Collaborate with agency partners to develop creative briefs and strategies supporting new customer growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional and store-level operations leaders to understand, uncover, and recommend marketing strategies and tactics to be implemented to ramp store performance. Responsibilities could include researching and developing individual store marketing programs, creating marketing toolkits, training, and seasonal resources for Store Managers, developing assets for localized programs (e.g., flyers, coupons, ads, event resources, signage, giveaways), and supporting the development of localized partnerships (e.g., carwashes, Chamber of Commerce).
  • Manage existing and developing new referral discount programs (e.g., carwash partners, AARP discount program, fundraising discount books). Responsibilities could include meeting monthly with partner account managers, developing and managing campaign assets, developing promotional calendars and limited-time offers, and reporting on programs.
  • Support same-store direct mail and shared mail direct response programs. Responsibilities could include project management to track against key deadlines, developing program targeting, managing creative updates and assets, creative proofing, and program reporting and analysis.
  • Administrative duties will include assisting with program reporting, reporting on project status, and tracking of invoices and budgets.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
