The purpose of this job is to support and facilitate the MDM (Medicare Document Management) Processes. This role will Contribute to daily work flow by reviewing and processing incoming documents, and be an ongoing MPS resource for the customer, sales team and management.  This role will report to the MDM Supervisor.

 

 

 

Your Impact:
  • Stay current with the LCD’s pertaining to the TSB (Therapeutic Shoe Bill).
  • Contribute to daily work flow by reviewing and processing incoming documents from the DPM (Podiatrist) and the patient’s Diabetic Care Practitioner (DCP).
  • Consult and provide support to our end users and the DCP.
  • Work with management and team to develop meaningful reporting, KPI and bench marks goals.
  • Provide cross functional coverage to the Service and Clinical teams. Contribution to phone and chat queues.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience
Additional Success Factors:
  • Experience in day to day operations of billing and coding for a medical practice. Podiatry or O & P preferred.
  • Office suite proficiency.
  • Qualified individual will have experience with an EHR/EMR.
