The Fountainhead Group is looking for a Receiving Clerk / Forklift Operator to join our FGI Family and support our growing warehouse and manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the WMS Manager, the Receiving Clerk / Forklift Operator is responsible for receiving all incoming raw material and MRO supplies in a detailed and accurate method.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all product is received in good condition, entered into our ERP system and accurately placed into the warehouse using the WMS system, or delivered to the appropriate requester.
- Verify all transactions were completed correctly and report findings to the WMS Manager
What You’ll Do:
The below describes a typical day as a member of our warehouse and production facilities, but additional responsibilities may be required by the facility manager.
Perform daily forklift inspections and report deficiencies to WMS Manager.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner at all times while loading and unloading both outside and internal trucks.
- Be able to use, on a daily basis, inventory management software on a tablet or scanner and PC to move and receive inventory throughout the facility.
- Must be computer literate to be able to navigate our ERP system for purposes of receiving inventory, knowing who to deliver items to and placing items into the proper stock location. Must also be able to maintain our dock management system for purposes of scheduling delivery appointments.
- Properly count and account for all products arriving either through outside shipper or internal transfer throughout the facility.
- Keep incoming product properly organized for QC inspection or for further handling and distribution.
- Suggest ideas and concepts to better achieve the company goal of improving inventory controls.
- Place properly secured product safely in storage areas or inventory bays.
- Have daily and weekly meetings on findings and situations encountered with the WMS Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and warehouse daily.
- Participate in annual inventory.
- Perform other warehouse operation tasks as needed and directed.

Qualifications:
Who You Are:
- You are at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years experience working in a warehouse setting.
- 2 years warehouse lift equipment preferred.
- Must be computer literate. Knowledge of warehouse tablets and scanners a plus.
- Must be able to communicate, read and write in English.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, safety and be able to prioritize and adapt to daily tasks.
- Must work well with others in a team setting and follow directions from supervisors.
- Must have a strong attendance record.
