Job description

Who We Are

Claritas Rx started with a simple vision: to tangibly improve how biopharmaceutical manufacturers understand their specialty product performance in the marketplace. Since then, Claritas Rx has grown from a small channel data consultancy to become a pioneer in patient-level data integration and analytics for the biopharmaceutical industry. Today, our customers range from small biotechnology companies launching their first specialty product to large global manufacturers with a strong portfolio of specialty products.

The Position

The file check specialist works in partnership with the Business Analyst team to engage with data partners and onboard data feeds into the Claritas Rx platform. As a member of the Implementation Team, the File Check Specialist is responsible for validating and verifying test files against configuration setups in the specialty healthcare domain. This role ensures that all test files conform to the specified business rules, configuration settings, and regulatory requirements. The Specialist will work closely with the Delivery and Operations Data Management teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy for all incoming test files.

Key Accountabilities

Test File Validation:

  • Compare test files against configuration setups to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Verify that test files reflect the correct business rules, healthcare codes (e.g., ICD-10, NDC), headers, footers, filename, and field formats and content
  • Identify and document discrepancies or errors in test files and escalate them to relevant internal/external teams for resolution

Configuration Compliance:

  • Ensure that all test files adhere to the configurations set up in the Claritas Rx data map system
  • Collaborate with the Implementation Business Analysts to understand setup changes and their impact on file validation

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of test file validations, including methodologies, findings, and corrective actions
  • Generate reports on the status of file checks and provide insights into recurring issues or potential areas for improvement

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Delivery and Data Operations teams to ensure alignment between file validation processes and system configurations
  • Participate in meetings to discuss test file outcomes and contribute to the development of best practices for file validation

  • Deep knowledge of data management in specialty biotech, and/or operations in reimbursement call centers or specialty pharmacies
  • Familiarity with healthcare data sources (transactional, clinical, behavioral)

Education/Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university with a degree in mathematics, statistics or other data/analytical domain
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other analytic tool, specifically in data comparison, conditional formula, data summary, and conversion
