Backend Developer (project contract)

Project description

Throughout the contract, you will be responsible for developing the e-commerce platform on top of the Sylius (Sylius Plus) application with custom modules.

Contract duration: 5 - 6 months (starts from October / November) with possibility of extension for maintenance hours

Contract type: B2B

Salary range: 16 000 - 20 000 PLN NET + VAT full-time monthly budget (payment on an hourly basis)

Monthly engagement: min. 70 hours + (availability required from Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, as well as attendance at regular and ongoing meetings related to daily work)

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining e-commerce platform on top of Sylius (Sylius Plus)

• Quality check (code review)

• Writing unit tests

• Cooperation with UX Designers and Mobile developers

• Taking care of application security, from design to implementation

Your Profile & Skills Required

• You know PHP (including Symfony and Sylius) & SQL very well

• You know the queue system and asynchronous processing

• You have experience in developing RESTFull APIs

• You have a good understanding of business and technology

• You know the basics of Docker

• You can optimize the application

• You want to learn and develop by implementing challenging and ambitious projects

• You communicate fluently in Polish

Nice to Haves

• PHPUnit, Behat, PHPSpec

• Experience in working with the cloud environment

• Knowledge of ElasticSearch

• CI / CD experience

• Domain-Driven Design and CQRS
