The Role
We are looking for a full-time Account Manager to join our team in New York. You will work closely with our clients, anticipate how our range of products can support their business, and set the strategy for the future of their compliance and regulatory reporting landscape.
The Account Manager role at FundApps is a client-facing position that involves developing a deep understanding of client requirements, increasing their efficiency, and helping them navigate tech-related challenges.
Building strong client relationships, becoming a trusted partner, and executing commercial strategies will be key to this role.
How We Measure Success
This position requires a commercial mindset, a blend of technical and financial acumen, strong communication skills, and strategic thinking.
Around 20% of the world's assets under management are under our care and you’ll be managing clients of all sizes, from pre-launch through to multiple trillion dollar investment banks.
Success in this role will be measured by both the growth of existing client accounts and the strength of client relationships.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:Developing and executing a commercial strategy for our portfolio of accounts by understanding client needs, FundApps' product offerings, and industry trends while safeguarding existing revenue and growing client ARR.Building strong relationships with key decision-makers (COOs, CCOs, CROs, CIOs) and front-office stakeholders (PFMs, HFMs, Traders) and becoming a trusted advisor to drive joint roadmaps and solutions.Leading commercial and strategic interactions with clients, prioritizing their needs in collaboration with the client success team to uncover both tactical and big-picture opportunities.Collaborating closely with the client success and product teams to understand client workflows, displace competitors, and identify growth opportunities within and beyond current scopes.Mastering technical knowledge of FundApps and regulatory compliance, staying up-to-date on industry trends, and applying best-in-class sales techniques and communication strategies.What You’ll Bring to the Team:Relevant Background: You’ve held roles with monetary quotas, have a proven track record of meeting targets, and have experience negotiating deal terms. You have demonstrated experience in account management or relationship management in a B2B or enterprise sales environment.Industry Knowledge: You have a strong understanding of the financial services industry and have worked with asset managers, hedge funds, pension funds, and/or banks.Sales Excellence: You adopt new processes and possess strong key account management skills to plan for and achieve business growth targetsProactive Mindset: You’re self-motivated and adaptable, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are always ready to go the extra mile. You show curiosity and demonstrate behaviors aligned with FundApps' values.Strong Communication: You have outstanding communication skills and experience presenting to large groups. We require candidates to have permission to work in the US without sponsorship.
We work hybrid and ask that new FundAppers spend 3 days a week at our New York office during the first 6 months to make the most of getting to know the business and your new colleagues.
