ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a great opportunity to join a growing, global organization. The Merchandising Operations Coordinator supports the merchandising team in various administrative and operational tasks for Direct and Retail, and occasionally B2B channels. This role involves assisting in implementing merchandising strategies, communicating, and managing updates and changes needed through accurate record keeping. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and can work in a cross-functional team environment.
 
WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and assist in recapping in One Note. Help manage and communicate promotional limited-time sales (LTS) calendar updates for Retail + Direct. Assist in maintaining and updating merchandising and visual files.
  • Coordinate and organize product knowledge calendar. Check store marketing needs for signage, hangers, racks, and other visual merchandising (VM) tools. Compose seasonal Buy Books and VM Guidelines for review. Maintain living/collection launch checklists and keep teams on task.
  • Assist team in proofreading copy. Compile outstanding issues that need follow-up. Submit issues; track and manage required updates through WorkFront tasks. Check that links are working and directing to the correct paths.
  • Assist Manager with coordinating styles/information needed in Lucid Chart before the turn-in due dates. Communicate updates needed with the buying team and send timing reminders and alerts. Provide guard rails against mixed messages and duplication of work.
  • Weekly review of feature color and work with the site team. Weekly review and auditing of website: Home Page Livings, Department and Product Pages (new styles, pricing issues, pinnings, navigation). Partner with the Buying Team and assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies via WorkFront requests. Escalate actions needed to correct.
  • Work closely with Merchant, Marketing, and Art teams to help facilitate timely due dates on tasks. Assist with the daily merchandise marketing workload needs of the merchant team.
  • Assist with coordinating and ordering samples for monthly meetings with the Art team and any team meetings as needed. Support the Buying Team with the sample process, agile lists, and tracking documents needed. Assist in maintaining the right checks and balances across teams and executing according to forecasts.
  • Help develop a system for email tracking, record keeping, and analysis. Assist in planning ways to make future emails more productive.
  • Support efforts to enhance the customer shopping experience across all channels.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • Retail Store, E-commerce, or Merchandising Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent writing & grammar skills with good verbal communication in English
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships, collaborate, and work effectively with different personalities across multiple teams.    
  • Organization skills- ability to manage time, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and complete all assigned tasks
  • Detail-oriented person who can perform repetitive tasks with minimal errors in a fast-paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that takes ownership and reacts quickly to needs
  • BS/BA Degree - Merchandising, Business, Marketing, Fashion Buying

      HYBRID – The Best of Both Worlds
      Have the flexibility to work on-site/in the business and remotely during the week. You’ll spend a few days a week in our office for collaboration/in-person engagement and have the flexibility to work from home on other days. While on-site, join other team members in the spacious Quad for lunch, or enjoy our other ongoing wellness activities. Employees are expected to be online and available during the core business hours for their team. Company computer provided for business use.
