Our opportunity:

In this role, you will have an opportunity to demonstrate your strong analytical and modeling skills, and ability to deliver results in a dynamic fast-paced environment. You will be the primary finance business partner for the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).   You will lead planning, forecasting, and reporting analysis for the Marketing organization across the entire company. You will proactively highlight risk and opportunities through data-driven insights and business modeling and lead several key analytical projects that span across all regions. You will have visibility and interactions

Who you’ll report to:

This position reports to our Director, FP&A

Location: 

Hybrid role, with regular onsite work from our San Jose, CA bay area corporate office. Only candidates local to our San Jose, CA office will be considered.

You will make an impact by being responsible for:

  • Serve as the key finance business partner providing financial support and business insights for the CMO
  • Driving and managing the annual budgeting process and maintain accurate updated forecasts throughout the fiscal year
  • You will be driving process improvement initiatives by streamlining, standardizing, and automating processes and reporting requirements and have an opportunity to identify areas to automate and implement our GenAI agentic driven automation
  • Preparing financial reporting deliverables (month-end close packages, variance analysis, forecast packages) to ensure transparency into the business performance and enable the leadership team to stay on track to deliver on their goals
  • Lead the development of financial models and advanced analytical tools that aid in key decision making.    This includes tracking results with the Lead Funnel (Flow) process, Pipeline Generation, Conversion and return on investments (ROI)
  • Serve in a support capacity providing analytical results for proper compliance and submissions with fiscal and quarterly research analyst submissions
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed and present findings to senior management

You will be a great fit if you have: 

  • Bachelors Degree required, MBA a plus
  • 7+ years of overall work experience with 4+ years of experience in FP&A and Finance, preferably with fast growing SaaS / software companies
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) related experience in a financial capacity (Marketing, Sales, Channels)
  • Proven data modeling/analytical skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage large blocks of data, disparate data aggregation, reporting, and key Excel functions
  • Workday, Adaptive experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of planning and GL and other systems

  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and ability to work toward results, team oriented
  • Ability to work with multiple sources of nonstandard data and distill into concise, clear, and accurate analysis and results
  • Exceptional work ethic; completing assignments on time and sometimes outside of a normal workday

The base salary range for this position in California, New York, and Washington is $120,000 – $140,000 and outside of those locations is $110,000 – 130,000 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
