The role?
An exciting permanent full time position has arisen for an Engineer experienced in Piping System Integrity and Flange Management to support a strategic Global Frame Agreement for a key client of the organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with expert technical knowledge in Piping System Integrity and Flange Management who will function as EnerMech's ambassador due to their knowledge in this specific subject, by applying their expertise as part of an integrated team in the delivery of our specialist services for multi-sector projects globally. Project scopes include Net Zero Transition, North Sea oil & gas, Hydrogen and other energy transition projects.
The role will be remote, home-based and ideally you live in or near to the Teesside area where some of the key projects will be based. Travel to London, Aberdeen or other key project sites globally may be required.
You will strengthen the already established team by providing technical leadership and guidance in Flange Management, working directly with projects and the Global Frame Agreement client.
You will be responsible for providing expertise in piping integrity relating to flange management, through engineering design through to execution readiness as part of our Right First time approach
Other main duties and responsibilities will include;
- Providing technical expertise and lead technical matters related to flange management and bolted joint integrity on multiple projects, including calculations
- Lead, engage and build relationships with project and site teams
- Lead the engagement on projects to provide valuable contribution during the early project stages and resource planning
- Regular project progress reporting to management
You are?
To be successful for this position you will hold a mechanical engineering degree or vocational equivalent or proven industry experience. You should have relevant experience and significant demonstrable track record and knowledge in delivering flange management. Industry standard technical knowledge and understanding (such as ASME PCC-1, ECITB & EN 1591), experience in bolted joint calculation, piping system design service and codes is required.
You should be able to demonstrate experience in piping pre-commissioning services and handover to commissioning on major construction projects environments. You may also have experience in heat exchanger and non-standard flange calculations, flushing, cleaning, hydrotesting, leak testing activities and working on early phases of EPC projects.
