US Senior Tax Compliance Specialist (with Bookkeeping exp.)

Salary: P70,000- P80,000 (Monthly Gross Package)

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday (4:00AM - 1:00PM Manila Time)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• 3-5+ years SOS filings, sales tax filing, and CDTFA reporting experience  
• Some knowledge of tax laws, regulations and deadlines  
• Some knowledge of accounting and tax in cannabis industry
• Solution-oriented; problem-solver.  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Great organization and time management skills  
• High level attention to detail

What will you do?

• Process tax payments on behalf of clients
• Compliance responsibilities include: Entity formation, dissolutions and maintenance, change of entity type, SOS filings, and any other compliance work as needed.
• Compliance tax filings. Filing of sales tax and cannabis excise with CDTFA reporting.  Setting up CDTFA access for Clients.  Local tax filings as needed. Thorough work paper documentation for each filing.
• Communication with taxing agencies on client’s behalf.  
• Client education with regards to state and local tax compliance
• With strong US Bookkeeping experience
• Any other administrative, compliance, or tax work as required by firm or managers.  role is crucial in helping Product make informed decisions by being a direct advocate for customers' needs.
