L4-Network Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced L4 Network Engineer with 8-10 years of expertise in networking technologies for a contract position with our direct client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cisco switching and routing, firewall management (Palo Alto), network security, and a deep understanding of MPLS and SD-WAN solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and security.
Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Cisco switches and routers to support enterprise networking needs.
Manage and configure Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring robust network security protocols and policies are enforced.
Lead network security initiatives, including intrusion detection, prevention, and mitigation strategies.
Support and troubleshoot MPLS and SD-WAN networks to ensure high availability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate networking solutions with overall IT infrastructure.
Monitor network performance, implement upgrades, and manage routine maintenance tasks.
Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures.

Qualifications:

8-10 years of experience in network engineering.
Expertise in Cisco Switching & Routing technologies.
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and network security protocols.
Proficiency in MPLS and SD-WAN configuration and troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
