About the Role :

We are seeking a   Palantir Engineer with expertise in Palantir Foundry  for our client to support mission-critical data analytics platforms within the Department of Defense (DoD) space. As a key team member, you will work on a   Combat Command Analytics Platform  focusing on   Combatant Commands (COCOMs) . The role involves leveraging Palantir Foundry’s capabilities to provide Commanders and staff with real-time data insights for operational decision-making in high-pressure environments. Your contributions will directly impact national defense and combat readiness.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Design and Implement Mission-Critical Data Solutions : Develop and maintain data pipelines, workflows, and integrations on Palantir Foundry for   Combatant Command (COCOM)  operations, ensuring high data availability and accuracy for decision support.
  • Data Integration and Fusion : Integrate data from various DoD systems, ensuring secure, accurate, and real-time data fusion to provide holistic views of battlefield information and logistics.
  • Collaborate with Command Staff : Work closely with military leaders and analysts to understand operational requirements and translate them into effective data models and analytics solutions.
  • Build Operational Dashboards : Design and deploy custom dashboards and visualization tools that enable commanders to monitor, assess, and act on battlefield data and other strategic insights.
  • Optimize System Performance : Continuously monitor and improve data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability in support of   combat readiness  and   operational planning .
  • Data Security and Governance : Ensure strict adherence to DoD cybersecurity standards, handling classified and sensitive data according to military protocols.
  • Operational Support : Provide on-site and remote support for real-time data analytics, assisting commanders and operations centers in critical missions.

Qualifications :
  • Experience : 3+ years of hands-on experience working with   Palantir Foundry  in a military or defense setting, with a deep understanding of its features such as Ontology, Pipelines, and Workshop.
  • Technical Skills :
    • Proficient in   Python, SQL , and other data transformation languages.
    • Knowledge of   data modeling , data warehousing, and ETL processes within the context of DoD operations.
    • Experience with   secure data handling  in a classified or government environment.
  • Domain Expertise : Understanding of   DoD command structures ,   combat operations , or   logistics systems  used by the U.S. Military, with a focus on Combatant Commands (COCOMs).
  • Cloud Knowledge : Familiarity with   cloud technologies  (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, etc.) and their application in military operations.
  • Security Clearance : U.S. DoD Secret/Top Secret clearance  is required.
  • Communication : Strong ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights for military leadership.

Preferred Experience :
  • Prior work with   combatant commands  or   military operations centers .
  • Experience in developing   operational planning tools  and   logistics dashboards  for the U.S. Armed Forces.
  • Familiarity with the   National Defense Strategy (NDS)  and its data requirements.
  • Knowledge of   military decision-making processes (MDMP)  and how analytics can support mission execution.
