Your missions

Cybersecurity Analyst

Key Role:

Process and analyze cyber threat intelligence data, and compile standard and ad-hoc reports as needed. Leverage expertise of cyber data and information, analyze and identify data requirements, use specialized tools and services, and develop intelligence products. Apply basic principles, theories, concepts, and limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity. Refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals
  • Knowledge network security basics
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of embedded systems concepts
  • Ability to leverage expertise in technical writing and presentations 
  • Ability to review software source code against secure coding standards
  • Ability to analyze documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and interface control documents (ICD), for potential security vulnerabilities

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
