401(k) Client Services Internship Summer 2025 at Sentry

With the 401(k) internship, you will work with a mentor to learn what life insurance is and how it plays a vital role in the company’s success, as well as how claims are handled. You will also get opportunities to network by attending diverse social events and meeting leadership in multiple areas.

What You’ll Do

The 401(k) Intern works closely with a mentor in the department to understand what information is needed to provide excellent written and verbal customer service to plan sponsors and participants.

As an intern, you will gain first-hand experience in:

• Assist current associates with incoming and outgoing phone calls and email correspondence
• Support customers with empathy and understanding
• Provide assistance to associates by handling a variety of tasks that support 401(k).
• Build internal and external business to business relationships

What it Takes

To be considered for this position, the following criteria is necessary:

• Pursuing an undergraduate or associate degree in business management, business administration, or a related field
• Obtain a minimum in-major GPA of 3.00
• Expected graduation in May 2027
• Sentry does not offer employment in this position to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience
