Position Overview

Role

In the role of Manager, Retail Strategy & Analytics, you will be integral in enhancing the car buying journey for our customers, leveraging your expertise in data, analytics, and strategic thinking. This position will allow you to work closely with key business partners across Product, Technology, and Operations, with a focus on critical areas such as:

  • Web Strategy: Enhancing the search and financing experiences on our online platforms.
  • Product Strategy: Streamlining online progression to facilitate the purchasing process.
  • Customer Experience Center Strategy: Elevating service quality for remote vehicle shoppers.
  • Sales Strategy: Improving the in-store experience for all customers.
  • Business Operations Strategy: Optimizing the in-store transaction flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor, guiding partners in Product, Technology, and Operations.
  • Collaborate across departments to align strategies with the overarching retail vision.
  • Develop and refine analytical tools, including datasets, models, reports, and dashboards, to track and enhance business performance.
  • Innovate and collaborate with partners to prioritize and execute on key initiatives.
  • Design and analyze experiments to assess modifications in products and operations.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Proven experience in problem-solving, strategic analysis, and both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • Familiarity with large-scale data analysis, with a readiness to learn tools such as SQL or Tableau.
  • Ability to apply business and technical knowledge effectively to solve complex challenges.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate intricate subjects to varied audiences.
  • Passion for teamwork with analysts and business partners, contributing to both macro and micro-level strategies.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in a relevant analytical or strategic position.
  • Bachelor's degree with a solid academic foundation.

Work Location and Arrangement

This is a remote position with flexibility to work within 100 miles of one of our major offices, pending company approval.

Work Authorization

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
