Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer focused on Configuration Management to join our innovative team dedicated to enhancing healthcare delivery for underserved communities. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and uphold standards and procedures for configuration management controls in alignment with deployment activities and business requirements.
  • Analyze and apply configuration management activities and tools within project contexts.
  • Collaborate with project managers to devise configuration management plans, milestones, and timelines.
  • Identify and break down configuration items into manageable components for targeted projects.
  • Ensure version control integrity across software and non-software components by reviewing account specifications.
  • Conduct audits to guarantee that established baselines receive appropriate approvals from the control board.
  • Draft initial technical installation guidelines and supplementary documentation to aid in tracking.
  • Support customers and internal teams in grasping product configurations, leading designated personnel for specific regions or accounts.
  • Leverage infrastructure-as-code automation and continuous integration methodologies to enhance workflows.
  • Create repeatable scripts and automation tools for software release deployments across various platforms.
  • Collaborate with development teams to analyze the implications of code branches and merges.
  • Investigate emerging software development and configuration management methodologies and assess their relevance.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering, concentrating on configuration management in software build cycles.
  • Proficient in SCM tools such as Azure DevOps Repo, Git, and Team Foundation Server.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, particularly Azure DevOps Pipeline.
  • Expertise in as-code automation tools, including YAML, PowerShell DSC, and Ansible.
  • Strong skills in Windows/UNIX/Linux System Administration.
  • Experience in deploying applications within Amazon AWS and Azure environments.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with a strong focus on configuration management practices.
  • Proven ability to configure and install operating systems and application software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
