Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Epic Tapestry Application Analyst to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This role offers technology professionals the chance to collaborate in a supportive environment, where innovative ideas can flourish while managing impactful projects without extensive travel demands. Our Project Delivery Talent Model focuses on delivering long-term, onsite client service with an emphasis on excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported incidents, efficiently escalating complex issues to appropriate team leads or project leaders as necessary.
  • System Monitoring: Diligently monitor the Epic Tapestry environment and its batch jobs to ensure peak performance and system stability.
  • Change Control: Effectively manage the navigation of build migration paths, oversee change control processes, and ensure timely ticket management.
  • Customer Support: Deliver exemplary customer service, aiding in troubleshooting, maintenance, and developing clear training materials for Epic Tapestry to assist end-users.
  • Project Participation: Actively lead and contribute to projects, translating customer requirements into actionable deliverables while establishing regular status reports and managing customer relationships.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Organize and lead meetings with end-users and internal teams, serving as a crucial liaison between various departments and Information Systems, all while promoting adherence to industry best practices.
  • User Satisfaction: Take ownership of end-user satisfaction and task success, with proactive communication to mitigate risks and track issues.
  • Operational Specifications: Conduct thorough investigations and document future-state operational specifications for Epic Tapestry functionality.
  • Process Improvement: Utilize specialized knowledge to refine processes and support strategies, assist junior personnel, and oversee the assessment, design, validation, development, and implementation of the Epic system.
  • Reporting Needs: Collaborate with operations to identify and address reporting needs for end-users and internal teams.
  • Mentorship: Provide support and mentorship to peers concerning build and workflow processes, testing, and implementation.
  • Regulatory Understanding: Stay informed on health plan regulatory requirements associated with AP Claims, Authorizations, Capitation, Accounts Payable, and Enrollment using Tapestry modules.
  • Technical Proficiency: Exhibit proficiency with information systems technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and email, alongside capabilities in system workflow and business process analysis.
  • Collaboration: Engage regularly with Engagement Managers, project team members, and representatives from various technical teams, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Leadership: Independently and collaboratively guide client engagement workstreams focused on enhancing and transforming processes, implementing best practices, and driving operational outcomes.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Active Epic certification in at least one Tapestry module.
  • Familiarity with Tivoli workload scheduler (TWS) and Unix commands.
  • Proficient in analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining moderately complex systems.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare integration regulations (HL7, EDI, etc.).
  • Experience in the U.S. healthcare domain and managed care setup.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to work within the PST time zone.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

  • Preferred build experience in Epic Tapestry.
  • Understanding of AP cycle processes and general batch setup.
  • Experience in production troubleshooting and with Payer/Provider applications.
  • Familiarity with ITIL service methodology or ServiceNow.

Compensation And Benefits

The salary range for this position varies based on experience and skill level, with an estimated range of \(102,750 to \)180,000. Additionally, you may be eligible for an annual incentive program based on your performance and the organization's success, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
