Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Operations Risk Program Execution Consultant II to join our esteemed Governance and Controls Office (GCO) in a fully remote capacity. This role presents an exciting opportunity for professionals looking to leverage their risk management expertise within a reputable organization, known for its commitment to excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and execute various risk programs including risk control self-assessment (RCSA), business and regulatory change initiatives, and issues management.
  • Provide governance and oversight of change risk, external events, data, third-party, and cyber risk for the designated business unit.
  • Collaborate closely with risk leadership across all lines of defense to ensure successful program execution.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on risk programs, offering constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Communicate and coach teams on best practices for effective risk management execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, serving as a key liaison between risk partners.
  • Prepare and present findings and reports to leadership forums and committees with clarity and precision.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in various risk categories, including Credit, Market, Liquidity, Compliance, Operational, and Strategic Risks.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills paired with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, including potential overnight stays.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent training and experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in risk management, ideally within the financial services sector.
  • Professional certifications such as Financial Risk Manager (FRM) or Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) are desirable.
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for supporting dynamic risk strategies and addressing ad-hoc requests.
