Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Administrator for our School-Based Mental Health (SBMH) Program. In this pivotal role, you will act as a facilitator of communication and collaboration among students, academic staff, and partner organizations. Your efforts will significantly contribute to the enhancement of mental health services within educational settings, providing a unique opportunity to shape the future of social work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the recruitment of exceptional Master of Social Work (MSW) students for the SBMH program cohort.
  • Support the revision and enhancement of the MSW curriculum to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with community partners through organized meetings, aiming to expand practicum placement opportunities.
  • Create and distribute promotional materials, including videos and social media content, to raise awareness of the SBMH program and its career potential.
  • Provide mentorship to MSW students, assisting them in navigating their educational and career trajectories, including job search and licensure preparation.
  • Collect and analyze program data to aid in evaluation and reporting efforts.
  • Represent the SBMH program at various events, showcasing its initiatives, achievements, and goals.
  • Monitor grant compliance and oversee budget management to ensure program objectives are met.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or a closely related field by the start date.
  • Preferred: Recent experience (within the last 4 years) in school-based mental health services.
  • Proven experience working with community organizations and a strong understanding of multicultural/multilingual populations.
  • Familiarity with grant-funded initiatives and experience in university or K-12 educational environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
