Billing Application Analyst and Tapestry - Remote | WFH

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Epic Tapestry and Billing Application Analyst to join our innovative team. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to healthcare solutions in a collaborative setting, allowing you to share your insights and expertise without the demands of extensive travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Incident Management: Efficiently address and resolve user-reported incidents, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• System Monitoring: Consistently monitor the Epic Tapestry environment and Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) system to ensure high performance and stability.
• Change Control Oversight: Manage build migration paths and oversee the change control process, while resolving tickets effectively.
• Customer Support: Deliver exceptional customer service, troubleshoot issues, and develop clear training materials for Epic Tapestry and ORMB users.
• Project Participation: Engage in and occasionally lead projects, translating customer needs into actionable deliverables and managing relationships and expectations.
• Liaison Role: Facilitate meetings between professional departments and Information Systems, advocating best practices and quality standards.
• User Satisfaction Management: Proactively communicate with end-users to ensure satisfaction, track issues, and provide solution-oriented escalations.
• Documentation and Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations and document operational specifications for ORMB and Epic Tapestry functionalities.
• Mentorship: Act as a mentor, guiding colleagues in build processes, workflows, and implementation strategies.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to departmental processes, ensuring compliance with health plan regulatory requirements.
  
  

Required Skills

• 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Active Epic certification in at least one Tapestry module.
• Proficient in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB), Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS), and Unix commands.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare messaging formats (HL7, EDI, CSV, XML).
• Excellent analytical abilities to design, implement, and maintain complex systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience with production troubleshooting and Payer/Provider applications.
• Preferred build experience in Epic Tapestry.
• Understanding of membership and billing processes is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ANSI 278, 834 transactions and ITIL service methodology is beneficial.
• Able to work independently and across different time zones.
