Job Overview

Join our dynamic and mission-driven organization as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) specializing in adult populations. In this remote role, you will work within a collaborative therapy team dedicated to developing personalized treatment plans that genuinely enhance the lives of our clients. Your expertise in behavioral strategies will be pivotal in advancing our clients' quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exemplify and educate staff on the principles of Positive Behavior Support methodology.
  • Engage as a vital member of interdisciplinary teams, offering insights on behavioral challenges.
  • Evaluate, create, implement, and oversee individualized behavior plans tailored for specific needs.
  • Perform a variety of behavioral assessments, including descriptive and systematic analyses, and interpret findings through a behavior analytic lens.
  • Deliver direct behavioral treatment via skills training, social skills enhancement, crisis intervention, and individualized or group sessions in varied settings.
  • Monitor and strive to reduce the utilization of restraint while keeping track of challenging behaviors.
  • Actively participate in committees such as the Behavior Intervention Committee and Human Rights Committee as designated.
  • Provide individualized services adhering to pertinent regulations and standards.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Profound understanding of Positive Behavior Support methodology.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities for both individual and small group interactions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of executing detailed instructions and making sound, independent decisions.
  • Proficiency in data entry with a focus on accuracy and neatness.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field is mandatory.
  • A valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
