Overview

Bulletproof is looking for a Presales Consultant to support our Sales team in liaising with customers and prospects alike to provide technical expertise during the sales process. The role will report directly to our UK Sales Manager supporting the Sales team in delivering presales assistance to help close business. The majority of this will be delivered over the phone or on video calls, however onsite client meetings may be required from time to time.

The core function of the role will be to assist in determining the scope of works, across a variety of Cyber Security products & services, but with an initial core focus on Penetration Testing. Whilst uncovering the work required to complete a project, this role will ultimately act as a trusted advisor and work with the relevant teams to assist in creating a comprehensive proposal, whilst influencing a positive sales experience for the client and presenting the business in the best possible light.

With a background in Technical Sales Support and/or an enthusiasm for Cyber Security (direct knowledge of Cyber Security or Penetration Testing would be a distinct advantage), you as the successful candidate will be able to build strong professional relationships, with trust and credibility, as well as being comfortable in a client/customer facing position. An overview of the main duties has been provided below:

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical presales support to clients, acting as the main port of call for Penetration Testing scoping engagements;
  • Provide accurate scoping information to our Sales Team and assist in creating proposals using our automated tools;
  • Act as trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales process;
  • Assist in improving sales conversion rates by providing presales expertise to positively influence sales;
  • Endeavour to uncover new opportunities as part of the scoping exercise, when and where possible, and feedback these opportunities to the sales team;
  • Present technical aspects of sales presentations to customers and prospects;
  • Support the Senior Presales Consultant in the continual review and development of our Presales process in a drive to constantly improve our offering;
  • Liaise with the sales team, and other internal departments, to ensure a seamless customer journey in-line with SLAs.

CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS

  • Previous Presales and/or Technical Client Support experience in a business-to-business environment is essential alongside either direct knowledge of Cyber Security/Networks or a strong passion within the subject area.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely whilst building rapport and trust with both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Positive and enthusiastic customer-centric approach to presales; understanding clients’ needs and drivers with the ability to handle objections and remove barriers.
  • Experience in producing RFP/Tender responses.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with experience of using a CRM (we use Pipedrive, and will provide full training).
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks at any given time.
  • Pro-active and enthusiastic with a can do attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a team player.
