Job Title: Senior Contracts Manager - Security Clearance Required - Remote | WFH

Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior Contracts Manager to become an integral member of our team in Reston, VA. This role encompasses the comprehensive management of government, state, and commercial contract lifecycles across various business units, ensuring compliance and excellence in contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaboration and Coordination: Engage closely with the Director of Contracts and various departments, including Business Development, Communications, Program Management, Finance, and Legal, to facilitate bid preparations, contract negotiations, and administrative functions.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the performance and compliance of contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with original proposals and fulfillment of all terms and conditions.
  • Compliance: Maintain adherence to contracting policies, laws, and regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements, Cost Accounting Standards, and more.
  • Customer Relations: Act as the primary liaison for assigned customer portfolios, developing robust relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Contract Administration: Coordinate the dissemination of terms and conditions among necessary functional departments. Evaluate the implications of contract modifications and provide management with recommendations and risk assessments.
  • Proposal Support: Take part in proposal planning and preparation, analyzing solicitation documents and drafting contract terms while identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Negotiation and Drafting: Review, draft, and negotiate various pre-award agreements, including NDAs, TAs, and SLAs, leading contractual negotiations and modifications.
  • Contract Closeout: Supervise the fulfillment of all contract closeout requirements.
  • Mentorship and Training: Guide and mentor team members, fostering professional growth within the Contracts department.
  • Subcontract Management: Collaborate with Subcontract Administrators to ensure compliance with major vendors, enhancing overall contract integrity.
  • Audit Support: Provide assistance during internal and external audit processes, as well as with data requests from various clients.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of substantial experience in full lifecycle contract administration, particularly involving Federal Government contracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, and consulting agreements.
  • Expertise in intellectual property, data rights, and commercial software agreements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CAS, and associated agency regulations.
  • Proven track record in negotiating favorable terms in various agreements.
