Job Overview

We are currently in search of a highly skilled and driven Senior Software Architect to become an integral part of our innovative development team. This opportunity allows for primarily remote work while fostering collaboration with colleagues in our Chantilly, VA office.

Key Responsibilities

• Make critical architectural decisions related to libraries, frameworks, cloud platforms, and third-party services.
• Design and develop internal frameworks to support and enhance the capabilities of the development team.
• Create, maintain, test, and document high-quality software that complies with our standards.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide essential technical mentorship to team members.
• Prepare software releases and collaborate with the CloudOps team on DevOps infrastructure.
• Communicate complex technical challenges effectively to various stakeholders.
  
  

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in designing and developing web-based solutions.
• Strong background in microservice-based architecture design and implementation.
• Proficiency in modern web frameworks such as Angular 2+ or React.
• Experience with Node.js and Express.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Expertise in developing RESTful web services.
• Capability to secure and maintain a DoD security clearance.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software architecture and development.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Proven track record in mentoring developers and leading code reviews, as well as creating reference implementations for collaboration within the team.
• Demonstrated success in engineering systems that emphasize performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

Compensation And Benefits

• Salary Range: \(170,000 - \)180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
