Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional demeanor while picking up and delivering freight.
- Securely load, unload, and transport freight in compliance with safety regulations.
- Follow scanning, Proof of Delivery procedures, and TGEâs OH&S policies.
- Manage all consignment paperwork, manifests, and notes at pickup points.
- Ensure freight is packaged safely and effectively.
About You:
Skills & Experience:
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Current and valid HC or MC license required.
- Current Forklift License (advantageous).
- Minimum of 2 years in freight pick-up and delivery, including general and express freight.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with Radio Communications Systems.
- Knowledge of Load Restraint Systems & Equipment.
- Understanding of National Transport Commissionâs Load Restraint Guidelines.
- Ability to pass medical, background, and drug & alcohol tests.
