Job Title: Consulting Accountant / Business Systems Analyst - Remote

Location: Brisbane, CA (Hybrid: 40% remote, 60% onsite)

About The Role

We are in search of a talented and seasoned Consulting Accountant / Business Systems Analyst to join our distinguished team. This essential position will lead the charge in fostering the adoption of our state-of-the-art ERP system—the first of its kind designed for collaborative engagement between accounting firms and their clients. As part of this pivotal role, you will play a crucial role in our business development strategy, strategically advocating for our ERP system as the premier solution for accounting firms transitioning into trusted business advisors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as an Accounting Systems Pre-Sales Consultant, collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams to elevate the recognition of our suite of applications within the accounting sector.
  • Develop and enhance training materials and comprehensive documentation to facilitate the effective use and adoption of our ERP system.
  • Analyze the requirements of accounting firms and their clients, crafting customized solutions and optimizing workflows to increase efficiency.
  • Contribute to expanding our partner network by empowering accounting firms globally to achieve certification as experts in our ERP system.
  • Interact with Product Owners to relay customer and partner feedback, ensuring continuous improvement of our offerings.
  • Embrace a variety of initiatives and responsibilities with a proactive and adaptable mindset, supporting the overall growth and success of the organization.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in various accounting disciplines, including cost accounting, AP & AR accounting, payroll, corporate accountancy, bookkeeping, general ledger, and budget preparation.
  • Strong familiarity with ERP systems and their implementation processes.
  • Proven project management and client consulting abilities, with a track record of adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fostering strong relationships with team members and clients alike.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Fiduciary, Accounting, or CPA Firm overseeing multiple clients.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in software/ERP implementation, project management, or client consulting roles.
  • A keen understanding of Information Technology as it pertains to ERP applications and their practical use cases.
