Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute impactful communication strategies aligned with business priorities

  • Craft compelling content across various platforms, including press releases and social media

  • Build and nurture relationships with patient advocacy groups to enhance access and understanding

  • Integrate patient perspectives into strategic planning processes

  • Coordinate patient engagement activities, ensuring meaningful involvement in key initiatives

  • Guide Novartis employees on patient communication best practices and ethical standards

  • Manage agencies and campaign budgets to achieve outstanding results

  • Analyze and measure the effectiveness of communication and advocacy efforts

Essential Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in-house or agency settings

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, PR, or related field with medical background

  • Proven track record developing strategic communication plans in complex environments

  • Expertise in patient advocacy principles, best practices, and regulatory considerations

  • Exceptional written and verbal skills, able to translate complex scientific concepts

  • Strong relationship-building abilities with internal and external stakeholders

  • Proficiency in digital channels and social media for patient engagement

  • Analytical mindset to measure and improve communication impact

  • Adaptable problem-solver with a proactive, curious approach to challenges

For this position the minimum salary is € 38.038/year (on a full-time basis). In most cases, the actual salary will be higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies. We are open for part-time and job-sharing models and support flexible and remote working where possible.
