  • In this role, you will have the chance to take a leading position, spearheading the development and delivery of cutting-edge software solution UIs empowered by state-of-the-art AI capabilities such as Generative AI and Computer Vision.
  • You will play a pivotal role in developing AI product UIs that directly impact the work of hundreds of public sector staff, radically transforming the way they operate and deliver their services.
  • Your AI applications will have a far-reaching impact across critical national services, encompassing sectors such as defence, transport, healthcare, education and learning, central government, local public services, and beyond.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experienced UI Developer
  • High proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Skill in creating aesthetic and user-friendly designs that enhance user engagement and accessibility.
  • Extensive experience with the React framework.
  • Experience in building and managing microservice architectures.
  • Proficiency in managing global state in a React-based application using contexts and reducers.
  • Ability to handle local state using React state hooks.
  • Familiarity with building component-based architectures following atomic design principles.
  • Ability to model and design effective data structures for front-end applications.
  • Knowledge of securing applications through authentication, authorization, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Motivation to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills
  • Willing to travel for work
  • Ability to gain SC clearance

Desired Skills

  • Understanding of large language models and their applications (e.g., OpenAI GPT)
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Understanding of HTTP and other web communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with using Docker and Docker Compose for containerisation and local development environments.
