Job description

Projects/Solutions/Managed Services Business Development Manager

Job Role and Requirements:
  • As a trusted advisor, consultative solution selling of IT Projects, Services and Solutions for new and existing customers
  • New business development support within mid to enterprise clients and new client opportunities
  • Account/Opportunity Management
  • Closing business to hit targets
  • Work with Team to scope and manage solution sales cycle
  • Work as Business Development Manager to develop and drive sales pipeline for PBS
  • Drive Technical Support and pure project solutions into leading Commercial and Enterprise businesses
  • Identify opportunity and provide support from identify to close lifecycle
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors in accounts to strategically position solutions
Skills and attributes:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years' experience as a Solutions/Project Business Development Manager or Account Executive, Technical Business Development Manager in the Commercial, Enterprise, and Fortune 1000 space is highly desired
  • Proven record of success achieving / exceeding sales targets and goals
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Strong sales experience in Services / Solutions
  • Strong understanding of how clients use technology to meet business objectives
  • Demonstrated technical and product knowledge of network solutions
  • 5+ years of achieving sales goals and is comfortable with developing an account base, establishing relationships and closing viable business opportunities
