Senior Business Development Representative

About the Role:

As a trusted advisor, Pondurance provides an engagement experience that allows our customers to rapidly and measurably reduce their cyber risk over time. As a Senior Business Development Representative, you are a driven, results-oriented team member who engages with clients to change how they think about cyber risk fundamentally. You will present compelling cybersecurity solutions to grow our pipeline.  

You will be responsible for contacting prospective and current clients while nurturing relationships that fill the business pipeline with prospective partners and customers. As a Senior team member, you will serve as a knowledge and resource center for other BDRs.


Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your B2B selling skills to proactively partner with VP and C-Level decision makers to grow and expand the pipeline.
  • Develop & refine new and existing sequences, personalized outreach & messaging to enhance either quantitative and/or qualitative results 
  • Review and edit current messaging & call scripts to align with current best practices
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop account penetration strategies for target accounts, previous opportunities, and new & emerging markets 
  • Use leading sales software to manage activities and sales opportunities
  • Achieve and manage your performance goals and activities
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly goals for the number of meetings, sourced opportunities, and pipeline for AEs
  • Represent Pondurance at industry events in your territory (i.e. CISO dinners, conferences, etc.) 
  • Mentor new and current BDRs on best practices on utilizing tech stack, product/industry knowledge & how to improve within the BDR role
  • Assist in leading Team Call Evaluations, Huddles, SPIFFs & other team-related activities

Technologies: 

  • Advanced with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce
  • Strong knowledge of Sales Engagement systems such as Outreach, Gong, and Orum
  • Expert in navigating Sales Intelligence platforms such as ZoomInfo
  • Experience using Account-Based Marketing platforms such as 6Sense
 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experienced and passionate about cyber security, technology, and B2B selling.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a business or sales development role, especially in cybersecurity, is required.
  • Minimum two years of experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM tool).
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior leaders and decision-makers. 
  • Consistent history of achieving sales quotas.
  • Sense of Initiative: Interested in learning from and collaborating with top sales performers, personable and energetic.
  • Results-driven: Prioritize achieving results over other needs by investing the necessary resources and making all necessary efforts to meet desired goals.
