What You Will Be Doing:
The Azure DevOps Cloud Engineer is responsible for automating the Azure infrastructure provisioning and implementing the Infrastructure as Code, using automation tools like Terraform. The DevOps engineer will need to create CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot Applications and Infrastructure resources hosted in Azure as well offer directions to the development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the Azure Infrastructure as Code using automation tools like Terraform.
- Develop and manage CI/CD processes for different types of applications and automate them.
- Support all Cloud Resources in Azure.
- Automating Building of Application code using Build Pipeline in Azure DevOps
- Troubleshoot Applications and Infrastructure resources hosted in Azure.
- Work with the RegEd teams on the creation of new Azure cloud solutions
- Manage the full release process
You’ve Got What It Takes If You:
- Experience in supporting Azure computing infrastructure, data implementation, networking; implementation, and solutions by using Azure platform services
- History of performing hands-on Azure work to solve complex technical problems
- Superior verbal and written communication skills with a strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact with and provide updates to senior management, both internally and externally
- Must be extremely responsive, results oriented, enthusiastic, and an effective problem solver
- Must be highly flexible, able to learn quickly, and responsible for your actions and decisions
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of Azure infrastructure experience
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience in creating Ci/CD pipelines
Nice to Have:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Professional experience in a large enterprise environment using Terraform or Plumi
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, etc.)
- Experience with Azure cloud technologies (AZ-900 and beyond

The compensation range for this position is $100,000-$150,000. RegEd's compensation package is based on each candidate's unique skills, qualifications and experience. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience and qualifications. The total compensation package also includes our comprehensive benefits package, vacation time, sick time, volunteer time and parental leave.
