Join Smart Dental Care, a rapidly growing leader in the dental industry, as a Legal Consultant and be part of an exciting journey to help shape the legal framework of a forward-thinking company. This is a unique opportunity to apply your legal expertise across a wide range of matters and make a tangible impact on our organisation’s growth and success.

Why This Role?

At Smart Dental Care, you’ll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, providing crucial legal support while honing your skills in contracts, regulatory compliance, and healthcare law. If you’re looking for a career where your expertise is valued, and you can make a real difference, this is the opportunity for you! Full-time (37.5 hours), with the option to work from home 1 day per week, 28 days annual leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice on various topics, from contracts to compliance and regulatory issues.
  • Draft, proofread, and amend legal documents, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies.
  • Handle patient complaints from a legal standpoint, ensuring all cases meet regulatory standards and are documented properly.
  • Oversee external legal work, managing relationships with independent law firms to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
  • Organise and prepare legal documents for review, ensuring seamless submission to relevant authorities.
  • Research healthcare regulations and laws to support case files, reports, and legal notices.
  • Manage insurance renewals, and compliance checklists, and ensure adherence to employment laws.
  • Assist in dispute resolution whilst making an impact in the Dental/Healthcare industry including group litigation matters and shaping company policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of contractual law, with a particular focus on property acquisitions.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • In-house legal experience is a plus, but not essential.

Why Join Smart Dental Care?

  • Competitive Salary: Reflecting your experience and expertise.
  • Growth Opportunities: A supportive environment that fosters professional development.
  • Diverse Legal Exposure: Work on exciting matters across employment, contractual, property, and insurance law.
