Medical Customer Service Specialist

Pay Rate: $16/hr. Weekly Pay Plus Benefits!

Schedule Availability: Mon-Sat. 8am-10pm CST (MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AN 8-HOUR SHIFT BETWEEN HOURS OF OPERATION)

Start date: OCTOBER 2024

Duties

  • Answer inbound calls and make some outbound calls assisting with medically related inquires.
  • Using computer skills for data entry.
  • Gathering and reviewing patient billing and medical information.
  • Operating according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program.
  • Working with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient.

Requirements

You must reside in the following States: TX, AZ, FL or GA.

MUST HAVE 1 YEAR OR MORE OF RECENT CALL CENTER EXPERIENCE. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

  • Must have High Speed Internet with modem access.
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes (preferred).
  • Excellent customer service skills with a patient-focused attitude.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
