Opportunity


Menarini Stemline is hiring an Inside Sales Representative. The ISR is responsible for the sale and support of Stemline products to both existing and potential customers. The goals of this position are to acquire new customer business, increase market share through acquiring new accounts or expanding business in current customers, develop and encourage strong customer relationships, build brand loyalty, and to provide customer satisfaction. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for engaging health care professionals (HCPs) in telephone conversations, live video interactions and email communications to promote Stemline Products, maximize the products potential, meet business and activity objectives. The ISR utilizes approved tools for product and program promotion and maintains a competent level of product, program, and customer activity knowledge.


Responsibilities


  • Sell products to all potential and existing customers in designated target list to achieve overall territory revenue goals.
  • Promote Stemline’s products via the telephone (outbound calls), video engagements and email by engaging assigned HCP targets in in-depth discussions to attain individual, territory and company goals for sales, market share, etc.
  • Manage daily sales call activity according to defined expectations, with the purpose of influencing customers and increasing product sales.
  • Profile and manage a targeted list of HCPs and provide value-added benefits to grow product volume
  • Create strategic business plans for the assigned target list.
  • Maintain call productivity and metrics that are required.
  • Effectively and persuasively communicate with customers using effective selling, listening and negotiation skills, proper terminology, and approved messaging, and effectively use approved promotional aids.
  • Effectively become an integral part of the regions and partner to the OTMs in strategic planning and execution.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Stemline’s products and programs.
  • Verify and complete required data entry of call activity in Veeva.
  • Communicate with Regional Sales Directors and team members as required.
  • Participate in teleconferences and live (when required) National, regional meetings and training sessions.
  • Demonstrate flexibility for current business needs and activity requests
  • Serve as a key business partner to develop and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Track, report and analyze territory opportunities with the Regional Sales Director (RSD) on a routine basis.
  • Provides post-sales support of all assigned business.
  • Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and/or service by developing feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g. RSD, OTMs, clinical, marketing, etc.) to develop optimal solutions.
  • Monitor and report customer satisfaction, support, or issues, to the Regional Sales Director.
  • Monitor and update individual forecasted product volume data on a regular basis.
  • Responsible for meeting individual sales/business targets as provided by Management.
  • Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends to meet business and/or customer needs as directed.
  • Participates in any and all work activities as assigned by management.
  • Build Compliance into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all Federal and State regulatory requirements.


Skills/Knowledge


  • Clinical knowledge of hematology/oncology product category with strong up to date understanding of the breast cancer treatment landscape.
  • Solid understanding and application of business concepts, procedures and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed business plan/quota, and able to develop sales plans for all required opportunities.
  • Capable of managing time and resources within the assigned target list in conjunction with near-term plans to ensure the objectives are achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with governmental and Stemline regulations. Maintaining honesty, integrity and excellent work ethic.
  • Able to enhance teamwork within the region and maintain a collaborative relationship with all levels of the organization.
  • Able to influence others and function effectively in a team environment.

  • Basic to intermediate technical skills including VEEVA, RxVantage, Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Word and Outlook

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5 years of Oncology inside/ field pharmaceutical/biologic experience, 2 years of Breast Cancer experience is preferred.
  • Proven sales track record in the relevant product line.
  • While performing the functions of this position, the individual must be able to frequently sit, stand, walk and drive a vehicle for an extended period of time.
  • The individual must have use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; speak and hear.
  • Must be fluent in English and able to speak, read and write the same.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to complete a series of inoculations as required to access healthcare facilities.
  • Ability to travel by car or public transportation as needed.
