Your missions

Acre has been retained by a PE-owned IPP to identify a Vice President to work directly with the Country Manager in building a 4GW operating renewables portfolio in North America by 2029. Our client currently operates 100's of assets representing multiple GWs of power generation globally. They recently entered a multi-billion-dollar deal with one of the world's largest private equity firms to galvanize their growth in the renewables sector.

Reporting to the Head of North America, the Vice President, Development Acquisitions will lead a team of M&A professionals to review and execute a large volume of renewable energy acquisitions across North American markets. This buy-side role will be expected to manage large amounts of low cost-capital and acquire over 1.5GW of pre-operational assets annually.

Key Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years proven transaction experience in utility-scale renewables, ideally buy-side
  • Strong financial acumen to assess various business opportunities and develop bidding strategies with strong ROI
  • Comfortability being deal lead in key acquisition negotiations
  • Experience negotiating key term sheets including MIPAs
  • Acquisition track record across diverse US Power Markets
