Your New Role…

CNN seeks a talented Editorial Producer to join the Chris Wallace team in Washington, DC!



Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Booking celebrities, as well as authors, business leaders and other entertaining guests for “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace” on Max
  • The Editorial Producer should have an extensive rolodex of contacts and relationships in the entertainment and publication space
  • Coordinating logistics (car travel, Guestbook, makeup, etc) for “Who’s Talking” guests
  • Booking and coordinating four-person panel every week for a one-hour program
  • Conducting pre-interviews over the phone, keeping panelists up to date on topics and relevant research
  • Pitching new voices for the panel show and looking ahead to future events and pitching relevant guests for the Max show
  • The Editorial Producer should also have a strong grasp on using social media and coordinating with guests to help promote both shows
  • This person must also be able to develop and cultivate and maintain new guest relationships on behalf of the program and the network.   
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. Job may require travel for breaking news bookings and being in the control room during the show.



Your Qualifications & Experience...

  • 3+ years of news production experience.
  • A strong knowledge of politics and current events --plus an aptitude for talent development.
  • The ability to multi-task and execute quickly.
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent in proven industry experience.
  • Awareness of guests/panelists political leanings.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple guests and to develop long-term relationships.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $72,800.00 - $135,200.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
