Who We Are Looking For

The Senior Sales Executive will be focused on new business development and account acquisition within banks, credit unions, alternative fintech lenders, and other companies across the financial services industry within a designated territory within the U.S. The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for leading and developing a territory sales plan complete with strategies and tactics for working with Provenir marketing and business development teams to nurture leads, create opportunities, and advance opportunities to the point of close in alignment with company revenue targets. The Senior Sales Executive is the primary lead on new customer acquisition and will lead and direct the sales cycle, including but not limited to leading an expanded sales team that includes business development representatives, solutions consulting team members, professional service team members, and legal assistance to secure multi-year SaaS agreements with companies within the assigned territory.


This is a remote position and will be supporting our U.S. West Coast Region.


What You’ll Need, and What You’ll Do

  • Consistent track record of achieving and/or exceeding sales targets
  • Develop a lead acquisition plan for the territory
  • Build and manage an effective pipeline process for prospects
  • Lead 9 to 12-month complex sales cycles
  • Negotiate enterprise-level contracts including MSAs, SaaS agreements, and Professional Service SOWs
  • Relationship Management
  • Close Business
  • Assist in the orderly hand-off and transition of newly acquired accounts to the Provenir Delivery and Customer Success Teams
  • Actively participate and comply with internal reporting procedures including Salesforce and Forecasting requirements.

Qualifications, Strengths and Skills

  • A minimum of ten years working in an enterprise sales environment
  • A minimum of five years working within, or selling to the financial services industry, specifically the credit risk, fraud, or advanced analytics space
  • Experience solution selling into, or within the domain of enterprise technology
  • Experience in SaaS-based or cloud-native hosted technology solutions
  • Thrives in an accountable, quota-driven sales culture
  • Working knowledge of BPM, CRM, Case Management Software or enterprise-wide specific solutions within this vertical market
  • Demonstrable ability to engage with and manage “C” level relationships
  • Organized and effective communication and listening skills, including the ability to eloquently articulate a complex value proposition
  • Ability to create and present targeted content, build value propositions, and develop and present ROI in support of a business case
  • Experience in advanced sales techniques and methodologies
  • A self-motivated, team player who is willing to share best practices and learn new approaches while being open to coaching
