Target Range:

$160,000.00/Yr. - $170,000.00/Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 20%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 20%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

The VP, Sr. Underwriter will analyze files for various loan programs, being flexible in changing workflow procedures as necessary and performing some general office responsibilities. Responsible for analyzing moderate to complex loans, using up-to-date comprehensive knowledge and experience. Understanding of current investor guidelines and compliance guidelines is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Review all loan documentation submitted for initial underwriting decision, conditional approvals, and clear to close
  • Evaluate credit history, income, assets and current liabilities for ability to repay
  • Conduct careful risk analysis and exercise good judgment to determine if loans conform to applicable underwriting guidelines
  • Proficiency and in-depth knowledge of commercial real estate underwriting principles and guidelines
  • Review and respond to quality control and investor suspense items related to Credit for loan sales

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years' commercial loan underwriting experience, including complex/structured transaction
