About the Position

Position Scope:
The Sales Enablement Specialist will play a pivotal role in aligning our marketing strategy with the tools, processes, and training necessary to achieve operational efficiency and sales targets. This role involves working closely with the sales team to ensure they are equipped with the content, resources, and knowledge to drive sales success.

About the Job:
We are seeking a Sales Enablement Specialist to support our marketing and sales functions, with a specific focus on supporting the development, delivery, and maintenance of a variety of sales resources and collateral that enhance the sales process and improve business development efforts. Reporting directly to the Director of Solutions Marketing, this role will work closely with both the marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment on messaging, content, and strategies that drive sales productivity and business growth.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will be a fast learner. While a baseline understanding of the industry is beneficial, it is not required. Collaborating with the Marketing and Sales teams, you will quickly gain a solid understanding of how AML RightSource’s services and solutions impact the financial compliance landscape. Over time, you will continue to expand your expertise in the space. This role is crucial in ensuring the sales team is equipped with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to thrive in a competitive environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, creation, delivery, and maintenance of sales enablement resources to support the sales process, ensuring alignment with marketing initiatives.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain a library of sales collateral, including:
    • Collateral (case studies, whitepapers, product sheets)
    • Technology and systems (content management platforms)
    • Knowledge sharing and information (battle cards, competitive insights)
    • Sales enablement strategies and process documentation
  • Collaborate with members of the marketing team to support the development of targeted marketing programs, such as email campaigns, webinars, and events, that support sales outreach efforts.
  • Support ongoing consistency and quality control in the company’s messaging, ensuring that all sales materials reflect the brand and marketing strategy.
  • Provide insight into the alignment of marketing campaigns and sales initiatives, ensuring the right resources are available at each stage of the buyer’s journey.
  • Participate in the development of a content strategy that meets the needs of both sales and marketing, regularly updating resources to reflect industry trends and customer pain points.
  • Support the Director of Solutions Marketing in aligning sales enablement efforts with broader marketing initiatives and goals.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and enablement content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, content creators, and designers, to create visually compelling and effective sales materials.
  • Establish and regularly measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficacy of enablement initiatives and improve sales performance.
  • Provide ongoing sales training and coaching around new content, messaging, and tools to ensure optimal utilization by the sales team.
  • Facilitate feedback loops between sales and marketing to continuously refine and optimize enablement resources and initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, or a related role developing and delivering effective sales enablement initiatives.
  • Proven experience developing B2B content, preferably within professional services, financial services, or regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and how they align with sales processes to drive revenue.
  • Experience managing and optimizing content management systems and sales enablement platforms. We use HubSpot but acknowledge the carryover between other platforms you may have deeper experience with.
  • Baseline knowledge of sales enablement processes and best practices, with a strong focus on content creation and strategy alignment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex information into simple, actionable content for the sales team.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data and metrics to drive decisions and optimize enablement efforts.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally across marketing, sales, and product teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Naturally curious and proactive, willing to ask questions and challenge the status quo to continuously improve processes.
  • Comfortable learning and working with new tools, technologies, and products, and able to quickly grasp and communicate technical content.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating and managing content in a content management system (CMS) for easy access and distribution to the sales team.
  • Knowledge of competitive analysis and ability to create sales content that positions the company effectively against competitors.
  • Familiarity with developing, managing, and contributing to marketing campaigns and lead generation programs that align with sales objectives.
